July 2

A polygraph examination was reported on W. Lake Street at 8:34 a.m.

An officer was unable to contact a citizen in the Church Street area at 9:11 a.m. in regards to handicap parking.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on S. Division Avenue at 12:20 p.m.

Report of a 911 pocket dial on Alder Street at 12:54 p.m.

A wallet found in the Ontario Street area was returned to its owner at 12:37 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious vehicle reported in the area of Great Northern and Baldy Mountain roads at 1:17 p.m.

A training exercise was conducted in the Monroe Avenue area at 3:18 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a dog reported to be running in traffic in the area of Highway 2 and S. Division Avenue at 3:59 p.m.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the area of First Avenue and Church Street at 4:53 p.m.

After a three-vehicle, chain-reaction accident with minor injuries at 5:12 p.m., Isabelle H Martin, 18, of Sandpoint, was cited on a charge of inattentive driving.

A parent on Creektop Lane was advised at 5:34 p.m. to get custody paperwork in order before law enforcement could help him.

An officer advised that juveniles, who were allegedly being loud in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 6:18 p.m., went back inside their residence.

Possible stalking was reported in the 2900 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 5:55 p.m.

An officer was unable to contact the victim of a reported bike theft in the 2000 block of Sandpoint West Drive at 4:58 p.m.

An officer responded to a minor two vehicle, non-injury collision reported in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 7:39 p.m.

An officer contacted four males after a fireworks complaint in the park on Hickory Street at 8:59 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious vehicle reported in the 300 block of Forest Avenue at 10:36 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area of the 200 block of S. Lincoln Avenue after a complaint of a possible prowler at 10:42 p.m.

July 3

Heather A. McCracken, 39, of Plains, Mont., was cited in the area of N. Boyer and Church at 1:47 a.m. on a misdemeanor charge of no insurance.

PONDERAY POLICE

July 2

An officer mailed a letter to the owner of a wallet found on Highway 95 by a Ponderay postal carrier at 3:51 p.m.

Shoplifting was reported on Highway 95 at 4:36 p.m.

An officer took a report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Vermeer Drive at 5:15 p.m.

An officer took a report of found property in the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way at 5:25 p.m.

Brittney M. Boniecki, 29, of Spokane, Wash., was arrested at 8:01 p.m. on charges of petit theft and possession of stolen property in the 476900 block of Highway 95.
