Selkirk crews stop Sagle brush fire

SAGLE ­— Selkirk Fire made an aggressive attack on a brush fire off Brisboys Road on Wednesday, stopping its forward spread.

After Selkirk Fire Rescue and EMS stopped the fire’s forward spread, control of the fire was turned over to Idaho Department of Lands, Selkirk officials reported on their Facebook page.

“The fire danger is high and the long range forecast shows no measurable rain,” the department noted. “Please be careful when in the brush or forest.”
