Money found at local business

SANDPOINT — If you accidentally dropped “a fair amount” of money at a local business, the cash is not lost.

The money was discovered in front of a counter of a popular Sandpoint business on Tuesday, between 5-5:30 p.m.

The sum of money and the business are not being disclosed to prevent someone from falsely claiming it as theirs.

The money is being held for safekeeping at the business where it was discovered.
