SANDPOINT – Let’s keep this into brief, as the lineup is sizzlin’ hot for this week. There’s a great duo concert tonight at the Panida Little Theater, Crazy Days downtown with a huge ‘Play It Again’ music and movies sale at the Panida and the DogFest Walk n’ Roll at Forrest Bird Charter School on Saturday and … well, see for yourself:

Thursday, July 26

Fox & Bones

Venue: Panida Little Theater, 304 N. First Ave., in Sandpoint.

Time: Doors at 6:30 p.m., concerts starts at 7 p.m.

Based in Portland, Fox and Bones are internationally touring sweethearts who aren’t your average duo. They write from the perspective of quasi-fictional characters who fall for each other, decide to hit the road, and never look back.

Bright Moments

Venue: Trinity at City Beach, 58 Bridge St., in Sandpoint.

Time: 6-9 p.m.

When this Sandpoint ensemble takes the stage, you can always expect great tunes and good times.

Bright Moments

This jazz band always lifts spirits and especially so with their Eichardt’s shows.

Brian Jacobs & Chris Lynch

Venue: MickDuff’s Beer Hall, 220 Cedar St., in Sandpoint.

Time: 6:30 p.m.

This fun duo has a great sound that will lure you onto the dance floor.

Devon Wade Band

Venue: 219 Lounge, 219 First Ave., in Sandpoint.

Time: 9 p.m.

Devon is an independent country music artist out of Sandpoint with a strong love for country music.

‘Play It Again’

Venue: Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., in Sandpoint.

Time: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sale of vinyl, CDs, DVDs and more . All proceeds go to Panida’s College Scholarship Fund.

Admission: Free and open to the public — but you have to pay for the merchandise.

DogFest Walk n’ Roll

Venue: Forrest Bird Charter School, 614 S. Madison St., in Sandpoint.

Time: 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

This event is fully accessible to the disabled and dog friendly. Activities will include crazy dog games, vendor booths, food and music. The group encourages families, friends and business associates to form teams and participate in the Walk n’ Roll and help raise money for the local chapter.

Junior Ranger Program

Venue: Round Lake State Park, 1880 E. Dufort Rd., in Sagle.

Time: 3 p.m.

Round Lake State Park hosts a Junior Ranger program for kids ages 6 to 12 every Saturday. This week’s program is What Bugs Me – learn why we need insects in our world. The fun starts at the amphitheater.

‘Live Band Dance’

Venue: Ponderay Events Center, 401 Bonner Mall Way, in Ponderay.

Time: 7-10 p.m.

Come celebrate the fun tradition of social dancing in Sandpoint. This dance starts with a Cha-Cha lesson will be taught by a professional instructors from 7-8 p.m., followed by general dancing, refreshments, door prizes, mixers and more. Families, Couples, Singles, and all levels of dancers are welcome!

Admission: $10 adults, $5 teens. USA Dance events are alcohol and tobacco free.

Polly O’Keary & The Rhythm Method Concert

Venue: DiLuna’s Cafe, 207 Cedar St., in Sandpoint.

Time: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Polly O’Keary is today’s blues woman, pulling in influences from zydeco, country, funk, jazz, rockabilly, surf and rock and roll, she and her trio bring a searing and joyful performance of today’s blues to audiences across the U.S. and Canada.

‘Tricked Out’

This limited engagement magic show with thrilliusionist David DaVinci is only available on a first come first served basis, as there is only seating for 30. Alcoholic drinks are available for guests 21 and older.

The Groove Black
