July 10

A vehicle struck a parked boat in the 700 block of N. Third Avenue at 7:55 a.m.

An officer advised at 8:33 a.m. that a bicycle locked to a bike rack in the area of N. Third Avenue and Cedar Street needed to be moved for construction.

An officer advised at 8:41 a.m. that a citizen locked her keys inside her running vehicle in the 1700 block of Ontario Street at 8:41 a.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Airport Way at 9:12 a.m.

An officer escorted a long load through town in the Fifth Avenue area at 9:04 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the area of First Avenue and E. Superior Street at 10:24 a.m.

Thefts from a donation box in the 500 block of Church Street were reported at 10:25 a.m.

A citizen in the police department lobby on W. Lake Street was referred to Bonner County at 11:57 a.m. to report a burglary at his residence in the county.

A follow-up report was taken in the area of Sixth and Larch at 1:26 p.m.

A vehicle ran into a building in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue at 2:46 p.m.; no injuries were reported.

A hit-and-run accident that possibly occurred in the 600 block of Larch Street the week before was reported at 4:11 p.m.

An incident that occurred in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue the week before was documented at 5:26 p.m.

An officer responded at 6:33 p.m. after a male locked handcuffs on another male in Gunnings Alley but had no key to unlock them.

Marijuana and paraphernalia were seized for destruction in the area of N. Division Avenue and Walnut Street at 9:46 p.m.

Officers located a bus driving without headlights in Sandpoint and advised the bus had blown a fuse after a reported traffic hazard on Highway 95 in Athol at 10:19 p.m.

July 11

Officers attempted to locate a male and female possibly involved in a verbal altercation reported in the area of Sixth and Poplar at 2 a.m.

Natalie A. Sorenseon-McRae, 24, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue at 2:16 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence and was cited on a charge of failure to purchase an Idaho driver’s license.
