July 11

A female looking into her neighbors’ windows in the 1500 block of Oak Street at 7:29 a.m. was issued a verbal warning.

A polygraph examination was conducted in the W. Lake Street area at 7:55 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 1700 block of Industrial Drive at 8:06 a.m.

A case was assigned to cover a funeral escort to Pinecrest Cemetery at 9:35 a.m.

A fraudulent phone call was reported in the 400 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 10:45 a.m.

Report of a missing dog in the 800 block of Hickory Street at 11 a.m.

An officer advised at 10:47 a.m. that a wallet was missing but the theft did not occur in the 200 block as reported.

A found wallet on Michigan Street was returned to its owner at 11:03 a.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement in the 1100 block of Lake Street at 3:55 p.m.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in a parking lot in the 700 block of W. Lake Street at 6:12 p.m.

Robert A Lane, 18, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street at 6:58 p.m. on a Bonner County warrant.

After two females were involved in an altercation in the 100 block of Halley Street; they were advised by officers at 7:43 p.m. to stay away from each other.

After a suicide threat in the city, an officer contacted a female at 7:52 p.m. and advised she was OK.

A male was trespassed from a residence in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street at 8:07 p.m.

A caller in the E. Lake Street area on 911 hung up when he realized help was already on the way to Sagle at 8:01 p.m.

An officer answered questions in the 400 block of S. First Avenue at 8:20 p.m.

A male in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue was advised to cease contact with a female after a complaint of harassment at 9:47 p.m.

July 12

A contact was documented for Probation in the area of Third and Church at 12:48 a.m.

Jason J Hershey, 43, of Chattaroy, Wash., was arrested in the area of Third and Church at 1 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

A follow-up report was taken in the area of Third and Church at 4:26 a.m.

A possible no-contact order violation was reported in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue at 4:41 a.m.
