Unexpected answers to prayer discussed at Lifetree Café

| July 28, 2018 1:00 AM

Unexpected outcomes from desperate situations will be explored at Lifetree Café on Monday, July 30, at 2 p.m.

The program, titled “What’s God Up To? Unwelcome Answers to Prayer,” features a filmed interview with Ray Norman, a World Vision director who, along with his daughter, was shot while serving in Mauritania.

“The doctor looked at my daughter and then looked at me and shook her head,” Norman says during the interview. “She was clearly saying there’s not much hope.”

During the program, participants will have an opportunity to share stories from their own lives that turned out differently than expected.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café meets at Jalapenos, 314 N Second Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to stan at 208-304-6465, stan@followcommunity.org.
