Dolores was born on July 29, 1930 in Lewiston, Idaho, to Otto and Viola Anderson. She grew up and attended schools in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, graduating from CHS in 1948.

Dolores married Ray Kincaid on Aug. 28, 1948, in Coeur d’Alene. In 1952 they moved to Sandpoint. Dolores worked her first job in Sand-point for Bud Moon at the Moon Chapel. In 1967, during the Sun-dance Fire, she went to work for the U.S. Forest Service and remained there 21 years until her retirement.

After retiring, Dolores and Ray, along with Dar and Joann Cogswell, traveled the United States and parts of Canada pulling their camp trailers, as well as a yearly caravan of trailers with good friends to winter in Arizona.

Dolores is a member of the First Lutheran Church, Beta Sigma Phi, PEO and volunteered as a Cub Scout den mother during Rob’s boyhood. She enjoyed sewing, needle work, traveling, cooking and hiking.
