NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE SANDPOINT URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY TO CONSIDER THE AUTHORIZATION OF THAT CERTAIN REVENUE ALLOCATION NOTE, SERIES 2018 (DOWNTOWN DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT) As required by the Idaho Code Section 50-2012(d) of the Idaho Urban Renewal Law of 1965, as amended, public notice is hereby given by the Sandpoint Urban Renewal Agency (the "Agency"), the urban renewal agency for the City of Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho, that on the 7th day of August, 2018, at 7:30 a.m., in the Council Chambers at the Sandpoint City Hall located at 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, Idaho, the Board of Commissioners of the Agency will consider the Note Purchase and Security Agreement (the "Note Purchase Agreement") and the resolution authorizing the Agency to enter into a loan in the principal amount not to exceed $1,500,000, with an interest rate of 3.63% per annum, between Washington Trust Bank and the Agency. The Note Purchase Agreement, the resolution approving the Note Purchase Agreement (the "Note Resolution"), and the Note (defined below) are available for public inspection at the Agency's offices at 509 N. 5th Ave., Suite E, Sandpoint, Idaho. The Agency intends to proceed to close as soon as practicable, subject to the approval of the Note Purchase Agreement, the Note Resolution and compliance with all necessary conditions. The Note Resolution authorizes the issuance of a Revenue Allocation Note, Series 2018 (Downtown District Redevelopment Project) (the "Note") of the Agency in the principal amount of not exceeding $1,500,000 with a maturity date of September 15, 2029. The Agency desires to issue the Note to finance in part the redevelopment of the Downtown District Urban Renewal Area, including but not limited to, financing certain costs of (i) construction or reconstruction of street, curb and gutters, sidewalks, utilities, and parking facilities; (ii) other eligible related capital expenditure projects within the Downtown District Urban Renewal Area; and (iii) costs of issuing the Note (collectively, the "Project"); as authorized by the Amended and Restated Urban Renewal Plan for the Downtown District, duly approved by the adoption of Ordinance No. 1241 of the City of Sandpoint on August 18, 2010. The Note Resolution pledges to the payment of the Note certain Revenue Allocation Proceeds as more fully set forth in the Note Purchase Agreement. Any interested person is encouraged to attend the meeting and provide comment.
