City announces street striping

SANDPOINT — The city is painting the town yellow — well, parts of the streets anyway.

Beginning at 4 a.m. on Sunday, June 3, city crews will stripe all city-owned streets. The work is expected to last until about 10 a.m.

Because Fifth Avenue and Highway 2 are part of the Idaho Transportation Department system, they are not included in the striping effort, said City Administrator Jennifer Stapleton.
