Pend d’Oreille Review

June 3, 1918 – MORAN TRIPLETS BORN

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Moran received a telegram Saturday announcing the arrival at St. Alphonsus hospital, Boise, of triplets to Mrs. Thomas Patrick Moran, wife of their son, who is a gunner with the 147th machine gun company “somewhere in France.”

The three little girls are all lusty tots, weighing five and a half, six and a half and seven and a half pounds. So ambitious do the young girls appear that the mother feels sure they will start in with war work soon. At present, however, they are rebelling somewhat on the question of food conservation. The father is a Sandpoint boy, about 23 years old, a member of the old Second Idaho. His parents live in Sandpoint and have another older son in France.
