VFW, Legion announce litter pickup

PRIEST RIVER — Members of VFW Post 2909 and American Legion Post 147 will be picking up litter on Highway 2 on Saturday as part of the U.S. and Idaho Adopt-A-Highway program.

The group will clean an area from milepost 4 to milepost 5 west of Priest River. Local residents 18 years and older are welcome to join the effort. Those interested must attend a short, mandatory safety briefing at the Priest River Glass parking lot at 8:30 a.m. The cleanup will follow.
