Ponderay sets annual cleanup

PONDERAY — City officials invite residents to join them in the city’s annual community cleanup weekend.

The effort will take place Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. both days. Residents can sign up for assistance or to volunteer at Ponderay City Hall.

Last year, officials said so many volunteers turned out they were able to help out with everything from minor repairs to garden work. The more volunteers who turn out, the more they will be able to do, the city said on its website.
