SANDPOINT POLICE

May 29

Officers contacted an angry male in the 600 block of Division Avenue at 7:21 a.m. and calmed him down.

An officer advised a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Pine Street at 8:19 a.m. was unfounded.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on Olive Avenue at 9:56 a.m.

Officers assisted Ponderay Police on a call on Highway 95 at 12:52 p.m.

Officers and EMS checked on a female in the 1600 block of Cedar Street at 1:36 p.m.; she was OK.

An officer advised that a missing juvenile from the 400 block of Boyer Avenue was located at 3:07 p.m.; his parent was late in picking him up.

After a report of vandalism at 3:14 p.m. in the Superior Street area, an officer was unable to locate anyone under the bypass or fresh graffiti.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 200 block of First Avenue at 3:49 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a dead cat reported to be in the roadway in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue at 4 p.m.

An officer facilitated the exchange of information at a non-reportable collision in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 4:37 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the 472000 block of Highway 95 in Sagle at 4:15 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a female juvenile who wanted to report a theft in the 200 block of Halley Street at 7:07 p.m.

An officer contacted a male who made disturbing statements in the 1100 block of Michigan Street at 6:52 p.m.

Granya B. Boyd, 18, of Sandpoint, was cited on a charge of inattentive driving after striking a legally parked vehicle in the 400 block of Olive Avenue at 7:17 p.m.

Timothy J. Scott, 20, and Jessica D. Brennan, 19, both of Sandpoint, were cited in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:51 p.m. on charges of possession of paraphernalia and frequenting.

An officer was unable to contact a citizen in the 1200 block of Superior Street at 10:14 p.m. regarding a civil problem.
