Shapiro to talk at NAMI Far North

The NAMI Far North (National Alliance on Mental Illness) regular monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 5:30 pm in the old Bonner General Health classroom, 520 N. Third Ave., Sandpoint.

Krystle Shapiro, LMT, MSHN will discuss The Vital Role of Balancing Nutrients for Mental Health

Krystle Shapiro is a licensed massage therapist specializing in medical and oncology massage, gental massage for the elderly, sports rehabilitation massage, a unique four part program for people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and general relaxation massage therapy.

She received her Idaho license in 2013 and her master’s degree in holistic nutrition from Hawthorn University in 2012. Krystle has authored the book, “The War Within, A Holistic Approach to Preventing Veteran Suicide” presently in the process of publishing through Reader’s Digest.

Following the presentation there will be a support group session for folks living with mental illness and another support session for family members. All are welcome to this free meeting.
