The Ministry Institute at Gonzaga University Center for Spiritual Renewal is pleased to bring Taize-style worship to Sandpoint for the second summer in a row. Gonzaga’s Sandpoint partner and host is follow ~ a community.

The Taize Community is a Christian community in Taize, France, that welcomes people from all Christian churches and denominations. It was founded in 1940 by Brother Roger Schultz, a Reformed Protestant. Members of the community are committed to living in the spirit of kindness, simplicity, and reconciliation.

Taize-style worship incorporates worldwide worship traditions and features readings, music and chants, and silence. Come experience Taize at follow’s Sandpoint location, 419 Euclid Ave., on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 5 p.m. The service will be simple and meaningful, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
