Les Lawrence, a voice of Christian Zionists, shares expert insight into the modern restoration of Israel and its existential threat from radical Islam. He has a master’s degree in theology and is a noted author.

Lawrence will be speaking at River of Life Fellowship, 702 Church St., on Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. both nights. Lawrence also will be speaking at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, at Cocolalla Cowboy Church, 4281 Cocolalla Loop Road.

Les and wife Doreen’s love for Israel began with their wedding date on June 11, 1967, which was the first day of Jerusalem’s freedom at the end of the Six Day War. He has made a number of trips to Israel, briefly living there in the mid-1990s. Last June, they spent 17 days in Jerusalem in celebration of their and the war’s 50th anniversary. Much time was spent prayer-walking the city and touching base with other Christian ministries.

The couple resides in Wake Forest, N.C,. where Les leads Issachar Forum: A Prophetic Think Tank, weekly. Les writes a blog at Elisha Vision, posts a YouTube video each Sunday night, and has authored several books.
