Food distribution event is Thursday

Second Havest will hold a free food distribution Thursday, June 21, at the American Lutheran Church on Highway 2 in Newport, Wash. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-noon.

You do not need to qualify to partake. Everyone is welcome. There will be only one distribution per household and folks are asked to bring a couple of boxes or bags for their food.

The next food distribution events will be held Aug. 23 and Oct. 18.
