NEWS FROM GLENGARY

A beautiful rain on Sunday was a godsend for the pastures and hay lands in this neighborhood besides clearing the air of smoke and putting the forest fires in this part of the state out of business.

H.H. Davis ordered some fencing of an eastern firm in February and it arrived here promptly on June 22, which shows that the railroads are busy moving soldiers and goods for the war.

At the district meeting of the non-partisan league in this precinct, which was held at the Newman school house last week, J.D. Collins was elected delegate to the county convention.
