LCSC students earn academic honors

A total of 890 students at Lewis-Clark State College earned honor roll distinction for the spring 2018 semester, LCSC administrators announced on Tuesday. Among the honorees, 455 made the president’s list while 435 were named to the dean’s list.

To qualify for the president’s list students must have a 3.75 grade point average or higher for the semester and take at least 12 graded credits in level 100 classes or above. The dean’s list uses the same requirements but students must have a GPA between 3.25 and 3.749. Last spring a total of 850 students were honored.

Those named to the president’s list from the area include:

Athol — Todd Carter, Mason C. Cramer, Page M. Felbinger, Ann M. Robertson, Dawn Veltri, Jamey J. Weishaar; Blanchard — Katlyn B. Bunch; Cocolalla — David Brown; Kootenai — Hailey O. Powell; Moyie Springs — Brenna R. Maas; Priest River — Corbin R. Maltba; Sagle — Carly A. Blair; Sandpoint — Nicole C. Fitch, Bailey J. Tomazich; and Spirit Lake — Athan Wade.

Those who earned a spot on the dean’s list from the area include: Athol — Janice M. Aylward, Natalie Herring; Blanchard — Clay Pelton; Bonners Ferry — Hannah R. Lysne, Jada A. Miller; Laclede — Aislynn S. Robertson; Moyie Springs — Emma J. Pluid; Naples — Olivia K. Whittaker; Ponderay — Caitlin A. Shveyda; Priest River — Alicia M. Farnham, Elaine Gamma, David A. Morrow; Sandpoint — Elizabeth A. Eddy, Connor Vandenberg; and Spirit Lake — Allyson J. Robinson.
