Hello, my name is BNSF Railroad Co. and I can say or do anything I want to do and nobody can stop me because my name is BNSF Railroad Co.

If I want to build a second bridge next to the existing bridge over the water to allow twice as many of my trains to pass through your community hauling oil and other toxic chemicals nobody can stop me because my name is BNSF Railroad Co.

If I want to have my locomotives blow their horns in the middle of the night and in the early morning hours when it is totally unnecessary nobody can stop me because my name is BNSF Railroad Co.

If some of my train cars are in bad need of repairs with wheel bearings making a screaming noise and other things wrong causing possible derailments such as the last one that closed part of Highway 95 spilling car loads of corn and the one before that spilling carloads of soybeans into the Pack River, so what. That is my business and nobody can do anything about it as my name is BNSF Railroad Co.

Now on June 23, in Doon, Iowa, 14 oil tanker cars went off of the track spilling 230,000 gallons of crude oil into the Little Rock River which provides drinking water to thousands of people. So what! It’s not my fault because the river was flooding and I did not want to stop my train so nobody could do anything about this because name is BNSF Railroad Co. and I am always right and never wrong.
