Deadline today for lifeguard training class

SANDPOINT — The City of Sandpoint is looking for lifeguards for the summer season, and is offering a Red Cross Lifeguard Class in July, but the deadline to sign up is today, so act quickly.

Lifeguards must be at least 16 years or older, and must get certified or already be certified as a Red Cross lifeguard. The cost is only $50 if you apply to work for the City of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation. Apply online at www.governmentjobs.com/careers/sandpoint.

n Swim Instructor training offered

Requirements for Assistant Swim Instructor/Head Swim Instructor: Must 15 years-old or older; have good swimming skills; experience with children is preferred, but not required; swim instructor/WSI certified, or lifeguard certification is preferred, but not required.
