Roylene Gale Christy

Roylene Gale Christy passed away on June 24, 2018, surrounded by family, at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Roylene was the daughter of Roy and Mildred Frazer.

She born July 21, 1941, in Santa Monica, Calif. Roylene grew up and attended local schools in Clovis, California.

She married James Christy on Sept. 21, 1958, in Clovis, California.

Roylene and James moved to Fallon, Nevada, for several years, also living in California and Homer Alaska.

They retired to Sandpoint, Idaho in the 1970s. Roylene and James were married for 58 years until James’s passing.

Roylene trained horses for years and had a great love for animals. She was a creative person who enjoyed painting and sculpting, usually in western themes.

Roylene is survived by her children, James Christy Jr. of Sagle, Idaho, and Jeannie Christy-Vest of Sandpoint; and by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
