CLARK FORK — He left a lot of ink on the state page, which earned Clark Fork freshman guard Kobe Banks a spot on the All-North Star League boys basketball game, as voted on recently by the league’s coaches.

Banks had some monster games including 34 points, 12 rebounds and four steals against Noxon, 19 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and four blocks against Kootenai, and in two games against Lakeside, he posted 55 points, 19 rebounds and 11 steals.

“Basically Kobe is a gym rat. He is the first one in and last one out. Even on nights when we don’t have any kids show up to an open gym or only a couple show up to practice we basically have to put him in a head lock or shut out the lights to get him out,” described head coach and father Jim Banks. “It’s his passion and I’m excited to see what the next two years bring.”
