After atraffic stop was conducted in the area of Highway 95 and Fontaine Extension Road for failure to maintain lanes at Hwy 95 at 8:14 p.m., the driver, Jonathan Christensen, was arrested on charges of driving on a suspended driver’s license and possession of methamphetamine; and the passenger Sara Bartholomew was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

A case was assigned to cover a report of information on N. Boyer Road at 9:26 p.m.

A non-injury accident was reported in the 41000 block of Highway 200 in Hope at 12:52 a.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Lower Pack River Road and Highway 200 at 1:19 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 22

A bus was stuck in the roundabout on Larch Street at 5:21 a.m. but was able to get out without a tow.

Threats were reported on S. Division Avenue at 6:35 a.m.

Police, EMS and Selkirk Fire responded to a report of a structure fire on Olive Avenue at 8:11 a.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident on S. Third Avenue at 8:03 a.m.

Report of an animal problem in the Ridley Village Road at 10:29 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the E. Pacific Street area at 10:35 a.m.

Report of a parking problem in the area of Pine and Forest at 1:18 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:42 p.m.

An adult male in the 2000 block of Main Street was advised at 2:06 p.m. to handle his own personal problems with his parents rather than trying to get law enforcement involved.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Hickory Street at 2:54 p.m.

County was already on scene when officers arrived and handled the call after a report of a non-injury accident in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Schweitzer Cutoff Road at 4:26 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Fifth Avenue at 4:43 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on E. Pacific Street at 6:37 p.m.

Officers checked on a female on Samuelson Avenue at 6:59 p.m.; she was transported to BGH for an evaluation and later released.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Spruce Street at 7:26 p.m.

A K9 officer assisted the county on a traffic stop in the area of Highway 95 and Fontaine Extension Road at 8:14 p.m. in Ponderay.

A case was assigned to cover an ongoing dispute over Facebook on Chestnut Street at 9:11 p.m.; an officer advised all parties to cease contact with each other.

Quincy G. Culp, 32, of Sandpoint was arrested in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue at 10:57 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (excessive).

PONDERAY POLICE

Feb. 22

An officer assisted another agency on a structure fire call in the 400 block of Olive Avenue at 8:11 a.m.

An officer received a call of a welfare check in the 476600 block of Highway 95 at 11:14 a.m.
