OK Lanes claims loopers league lead

OLDTOWN — OK Lanes had a great night on the lanes to claim the loopers league’s top spot, ending Feb. 21 action with a 319.5-240.5 record.

Finishing in second was McCroskey Defense, which ended the night with a 311-240 record, and in third was Woodwise, which ended the week with a 308-259 record.

Following next are Club Rio, 285.5-278.5; Why Try Harder, 277.5-288.5; Win/Lose We Booz, 260-295; and Pin Ups, which posted a 255.5-269.5 record.

Robert Campbell rolled a 279 high scratch game as well as a 700 high scratch series, while Conner Shepard rolled a 284 high handicap game as well as a high handicap series of 726.

Win/Lose We Booz rolled a high team scratch game of 831, the high handicap game of 942. as well as the high team scrach game of 2,178. Why Try Harder claimed the high handicap series with a 2,565 score.

Converted spolits included Virgil Shields, 5-10; Nan Oberman, 5-10; and Wes Griffin, 3-6-7-10.

Follwing next are Sparklers, 47 1/2-52 1/2; Golden Girls, 42 1/2-57 1/2; and Balls-y Broads, 33 1/2-58 1/2.
