spring fun blooming all around local arts scene

| March 8, 2018 12:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Signs of spring — under the snow — are popping up around us. The A&E action is rising, too, with myriad events to keep you jumping.

Tonight, catch ‘The Female Brain’ at the Panida and get your dancing shoes on Friday for the Contra Dance at Community Hall. Saturday, it’s the master class with Vytautas Smetona at the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, followed by a Sunday piano concert with Smetona at the Heartwood Center.

Next Wednesday, take part in The Conversation at Ivano’s, where Gabe Gabel will discuss how to make a good living as an artist. Looking ahead to St. Patrick’s Day, the Bridges Home Trio has an all-Celtic music concert at the Pend Oreille Playhouse in Newport (tickets going fast!).
