I have never attended the “Sandpoint Follies;” I have always wanted to attend, I just didn’t get around to it. The Angels Over Sandpoint organization has done an outstanding job raising money for our area for many years. I was reading the letters to the editor and was surprised by the people who complain and whine and call the fund raiser “wallowing in mud,” “vulgar” and “working the Sprague red light district.”

Can I just say it? Do not attend if it ruffles your feathers. Instead of using your time trying to destroy this fundraiser, how about starting your own organization and produce an event that you do want to attend. The community would benefit and you could leave the Follies to those who enjoy it.
