| March 13, 2018 1:00 AM

Jami Lin (Jungblom) Adams, 52, passed away on March 4, 2018, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Services will be held at North Summit Church (South Building) in Sandpoint on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at 2 p.m.

Jami was born October 4, 1965, in Tonasket, Wash., to Chuck and Arliene (Atchison) Jungblom. She attended school in Davenport and graduated in 1984. While in high school, Jami had the opportunity to travel to Israel and be baptized in the Jordan River. She was also able to travel to North Carolina, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Mexico, all before her graduation. Jami was involved in many school activities such as music, sports, FBLA, and drama. After high school Jami furthered her education at Eastern Washing-ton Univer-sity.

In 1986, Jami worked for Lincoln County Health Department before moving to Spokane, Wash., and working at St. Luke’s Hospital where she met her future husband Mick Adams. They were married May 5, 1990. Jami always said she was fortunate to gain a stepdaughter, Alicia. Mick and Jami welcomed their daughter Nicole into this world, and the family moved back to Sandpoint. Jami began working for Lake Pend Oreille School District, where she touched the lives of many students and teachers, which would create valuable friendships. After she left the school district Jami began working for Bee Hive Homes, helping with the elderly population in our community. She worked there until she could no longer work and became a stay-at-home grandma, helping take care of her grandchildren.

Jami loved coaching her daughter’s sports teams for many years while she could. She always made time to attend her daughters’ sporting events, choir concerts, and be together with her family on holidays. She attended North Summit Church until her health would no longer allow her to.

Jami is preceded in death by her father, Chuck Jungblom. She is survived by her mother, Arliene Jungblom; her husband, Mick Adams of 28 years; her daughters, Nicole (Dustin) Gilton, and Alicia (Robby) Holt; her grandchildren, Emmalin Gilton, Olivia and William Mueller, and Lauren Holt, all of Sandpoint; and numerous extended family.
