Brandon Theodore Kuhlman

| March 16, 2018 1:00 AM

Brandon Theodore Kuhlman was born on Nov. 22 1989 in Sandpoint, Idaho, to his parents Henry (Ted) T. Kuhlman and Sheri L. Kuhlman.

He was a fun-loving, high-energy child who excelled academically as an honor roll student. He won first place in the Idaho state wrestling champion in first grade and throughout the years won three more gold metals and 29 silver and bronze metals. He also has first-, second- and third-place in track and field.

He loved adventuring in the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing, camping and huckleberry picking with his friends and family. Brandon’s passions in life were learning and music. Throughout his life, he was eager to gain as much knowledge as possible. Fascinated by nature, he studied agriculture and plants; from vegetation to the composition of the soil. He believed that God gave us all resources necessary to thrive on this beautiful planet. Music soothed his soul, throughout difficult trials to triumph. Living life to the beat of the music, Brandon loved rhythm and poetry.

Family was paramount to Brandon. Nobody was a distant relative because he treated everyone he met like family. He shared a unique bond and memories with each and every one of them. Growing up, many of his cousins were like siblings. He was a leader and protector, always looking out for the people around him. He only had one nephew, Silas, whom he adored and cherished. He wouldn’t hesitate to drop anything he was doing to play with them. He was known as Uncle BK to all the little ones, bonding with them through his playful, child-like demeanor. He had a gift for seeing the light whenever times got dark.

Brandon was ambitious in all aspects of life. Committed to spreading the word of God, his generosity was unmatched to most. He never worried about trivial matters and had faith that God would provide for him as he was a servant of the Lord.

Brandon passed away to be with his heavenly father on March 5, 2018. He is survived by his parents, Ted and Sheri Kuhlman; his brother and sister, Uriah and Kayla; his maternal grandparents, William (Bill) Crawford and Pamela Koistenin-Crawford; his paternal grandparents, Ted Kuhlman and Stephanie Barlow; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlene Crawford; his great-grandmother, Sylvia Baker; an uncle, William (Billy) Crawford; close friends Rene Spraggins, and Mathew (Lucky) Harper; along with the family dog, a Labrador named Indy.

A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held March 17, 2018, at the Sagle Community Hall in Sagle, Idaho at 3 p.m. All friends and family are welcome to join us.
