The Scotchman Peak issue is getting a lot of press from those against the wilderness designation. If you are concerned, please get your information from another source than Dan Rose. The misinformation and out right lies on this and many issues should concern everyone.

Heather Scott and her followers dispense questionable information at an alarming rate. They are against public schools, health care for veterans and government oversight on any issue that is a concern for the majority of common citizens. Clean air, clean water, access and protection of public lands, not so much. Access to a gun is more important than mental health care for our veterans who are killing themselves in record numbers.

If you do not agree with their position, your opinion does not count, no conversation, discussion and above all no compromise. That is no way to run a country, state or county, as diverse as ours. Divide, not diversity, is their motto.

We need to discuss issues with facts, not misinformation to feed paranoia. Their view of our country, state and county is very different than mine. I believe in protecting our resources not selling them to the highest bidder. We have a great nation but we need to respect our differences not destroy them. Not all Republicans are conservative and not all Democrats are anti-firearms.
