The moral character of our politicians matters more that ever. Steven Bradshaw is running for Bonner County commissioner, District 1. How is Steve different from any other politician? As the pastor of the Cocolalla Cowboy Church, he has dedicated his life to caring for the people of his community through the teachings of Christ. And as a member of his church, I give witness that Pastor Steve will care for the people of the county.

What skills, one might ask, does a pastor have to manage local governmental affairs? Remember, George Washington himself was a chaplain in the Revolutionary Army and 18 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were pastors. What we as the citizens of this county really need in our government is honesty and integrity. Our culture does not suffer from too few secularists or liberals with backgrounds in law and management. It is about time to bring God back into government.
