SANDPOINT — Welcome to May and the panoply of entertainment options it brings with it! Be sure to do your part today on Idaho Gives Day, with events this morning at Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters and this evening at Idaho Pour Authority.

POAC opens a new art show Friday evening at the Power House Gallery. Saturday is opening day for the Sandpoint Farmers Market season — hooray! — and there are several Cinco de Mayo events around town that same day, including a Reader appreciation concert with Brown Salmon Truck Saturday night at DiLuna’s Café.

Looking ahead, Bridges Home hosts a CD release concert on May 9 at The Heartwood Center, premiering the new original music on our new collection of songs.
