Baxter's hosting CCI fundraiser

SANDPOINT — Baxter's on Cedar is hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday to benefit Canine Companions for Independence.

Canine Companions for Independence provides expertly trained assistance dogs, free of charge, to children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

The Dining for Dogs benefit will be an all day event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Baxter's, 109 Cedar St.

A portion of the day's proceeds will be donated to Canine Companions for Independence. Area rsidents are invited to come stop by and meet some of the Canine Companions puppies and assistance dogs.
