Merrick Lee Hamelin was born March 1, 2018, at Bonner General Health in Sandpoint.

The son of Jeremiah and Samantha Hamelin, he weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

He was welcomed by his big sister, Micayla Hamelin.

Maternal grandparents are Darlene Schock and Vern Schock.

Paternal grandparents are Leah Hamelin and Rick Hamelin.
