In the sea of political signs lining our streets, it is hard to know who to vote for. The signs might bring the names of the candidates to light, but it is up to each of us to research and identify the one who best fits the needs of our community. It is a result of this digging that I plan to vote for the person with the most experience and integrity for Bonner county assessor — Donna Gow. Donna has a clear and honest head on her shoulders. She has over 27 years of experience which includes over 500 hours of appraisal education.

It is my opinion that the best candidate for this job, is the one who is currently working in the field. This position is more than just “management experience.” It’s about fully understanding how to do assessments from the ground up and knowing what assessments entail. Donna is the most qualified candidate to be assessor for Bonner County as she won’t need to be trained in actually how to do assessments before leading the department through the growth Bonner County is experiencing. Through her experiences, Donna has identified areas for improvement and is ready to implement these ideas. Donna is a capable and competent candidate who will fight to ensure our appraisals are fair and accurate.

Please join me in voting for Donna Gow on May 15.
