In our district’s race for the House seat 1A, the choice couldn’t be clearer for me: I’ll be voting for Heather Scott again. She is the hardest working legislator I’ve ever known, and she is an inspiration to others.

Her transformative effect in the state house has been amazing. We couldn’t have imagined our previous incumbents in North Idaho making that kind of difference. Her unwavering support of the Constitution is well-known and appreciated. Evidence of her strong conservative principles and insistence on limited government shows in her pro-life stance and concern for citizens rather than establihment politivians or a gravy train career. For this, she has taken slings and arrows from the left and, yes, even from certain quarters of the right.

But this is precisely why she has so much grassroots support, which is something establishment politicians are still trying to wrap their collective heads around. She broke the mold and she’s creating a new one. It was long overdue.

Thank you, Rep. Scott. We are behind you with our vote on May 15.
