219 Lounge hosting FSPW

The 219 Lounge is hosting a Friday night fundraiser and get out the vote rally for the Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness on May 12 beginning at 5 p.m Sandpoint’s iconic First Avenue bar will be featuring beer from the Iron Goat Brewery and donating part of sales to the Scotchman Peaks effort.

They will also match any donations received by FSPW that night up to $500.

“The 219 is being incredibly good to us,” said FSPW program coordinator Sandy Compton. “We really appreciate Mel Dick’s help and generosity.”

Kevin Doran will be playing music, Mandala Pizza will be cooking on the back deck, and FSPW will be raffling off great prizes from The 219, FSPW and Iron Goat.

This will also be a pre-election rally for supporters of the Scotchman Peaks proposal, featured as an advisory vote in next Tuesday’s primary election
