1. I have been interested in politics for a most of my life and I think we need to get back to our roots by working for the citizens of our county.

2. I am third generation Bonner County. Being born and raised on our family farm I developed a “non-stop” work ethic early in life. I am not retired so therefor when I am no longer in office I will need to have another solid career job, this will help with motivation to attract high quality jobs to our county.

3. Jobs, we need to attract career type jobs to our county. Public safety: we need to work to recruit and maintain our public safety personnel. Improved road conditions. Better support for our 4-H and county fair.

4. I do believe that Idaho DEQ will have a role in permitting, however state sovereignty states that Washington will be the deciding entity with federal EPA and state DEQ oversight.

5. I do not believe that we need this area to be a designated wilderness. We need to have the ability to keep the area maintained for optimal health of the forest land and wildlife, as a designated wilderness area we would be hindered to do so.

6. Since my work background is in road construction, EMS and farming I do not understand a “typical work day”. I have a history of start my day as early as possible and my day doesn’t end until the job is done.

7. Jobs, I believe we need to have more discussion to learn how to attract high quality career jobs to our county.

8. That I am the only candidate that did not move into Bonner County, I have a deep understanding of our way of life and am not trying to change it.

9. I think that a second railroad bridge would be good. This would help eliminate crossing wait times and be a plus to the country’s growing economy and transportation for what I believe will be our county’s growing economy.

10. Question: How do you plan to promote economic development countywide. Answer: I would propose reaching out to corporations to attract and retain a productive economy throughout our county.
