May 15, 1918 — SEND THE HOME PAPER

War work secretaries in Y.M.C.A. huts overseas say the hardest thing they have to combat is homesickness. The lads yearn for news from their loved ones. The letter from home is first in importance, the old home newspaper fills the void in the absence of the letter. Persons who wish to get this word of cheer to the local boys may do so by subscribing to this newspaper and having it addressed to the American Y.M.C.A., 12 Rue d’Aguesseau, Paris, France. The Y.M.C.A. will see that it is forwarded to the soldier at the front. It will be sent to a camp where boys from this state are stationed. Think it over.

During nearly two months’ military service, Co. B has had a total of 72 men in the St. Maries country though at no single time were there over 53 men on duty.
