Bashinskaya named to SFCC honor roll

Alina Bashinskaya of Blanchard was named to the winter 2018 honor roll list at Spokane Falls Community College. To receive honor roll status, students must be full time (12 credits or more) and earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher.

SFCC serves more than 8,000 students per year on the Spokane and Pullman campuses and online, offering associate degrees for students transferring to four-year institutions, career and technical programs and applied baccalaureate degrees. Opened in 1967 as part of the Community Colleges of Spokane, SFCC boasts a transfer rate of more than 60 percent.

Graham earns academic honors

Eastern Oregon University named 547 students to the dean’s list for the 2018 winter term. Qualifying students achieve and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded EOU coursework.

Emily Graham of Sandpoint is among the EOU students who earned this distinction.
