Monthly hiring event held today

SANDPOINT — Looking for a job or want to do something new?

The Idaho Department of Labor is hosting a hiring event today, May 16. The event, which will begin at 2 p.m. with a hiring event preparation workshop followed by the hiring event from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Both will be held at the IDL’s Sandpoint office, 613 Ridley Village Road, Suite C.

The monthly hiring event is a great opportunity for job seekers to meet with multiple employers with current job openings all under one roof.

More than 525 job openings are being advertised for both teens and adults. Employers attending include Silverwood Theme Park, Home Depot, Bonner County, Lake Pend Oreille School District, Idaho Health and Welfare, Bonner General Health, Northern States Pest Control, Inclusion North, Biomedical Innovations and more.
