Maurice Edward Friedmann, 81

Maurice Edward “Morrie” Friedmann, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services have been held.

Morrie was born on September 22, 1936, in Alliance, Ohio, to Maurice and Arlene Friedmann. He grew up and attended schools in Toronto, Canada. He married Lorraine Waterbury in 1956 in Mentone, Calif. He worked as a supervisor for RC Cola and as a regional sales manager for Tree Sweet. He later operated California Ad Tracking Service.

Morrie married Joyce Papas in 1973 and they made their home in Danville. He was a member of San Ramon Metal Detecting Org, and enjoyed treasure hunting, videography, and nature.

He is survived by his four sons, Mike (Debbie) Fried-mann of Knox-ville, Tenn., William (Kathy) Fried-mann of Sandpoint, Steve (Lee) Friedmann of Florida, and David (Marie) Friedmann of Sandpoint; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great-grandchild; and a sister, Lois (Howard) Grey of Anchorage, Alaska.
