The term “Semitic” was created in the late 18th century by members of the Göttingen School of History to refer to a language group.
The most widely spoken Semitic languages today are Arabic (300 million), Amharic (22 million), Tigrinya (7 million), Hebrew (5 million) … – Wikipedia
What does it mean to be anti-Semitic? Considering the origin of the word, it simply means to be against a language group and has nothing to do with a race or religion. All those who speak the Semitic languages are of all races and religions.
So what happened? For political purposes Jewish Zionists hijacked the word Semitic to mean race so that the expression anti-Semitic would refer to a Jewish race. There is no such thing as a Jewish race as there is no such thing as a Christian race. Jews and Christians are of all races.
