The Sandpoint Sasquatch U11 team went 4-1 recently at a tournament in Missoula, advancing to the gold bracket championship game, where they lost 4-3 to Missoula in a game that was scoreless until the sixth inning. Tanner Williams hit a two-run triple in the final, and pitchers Jordan Tyler, Jack Nye, Drew Lehman and Jesse Turner were strong. “This weekend was pivotal for our boys, as we became a team,” claimed head coach Ron Turner. “Each player gave and supported each other 110 percent.
