Our communities cannot thank our local Scout Troop 141 enough for helping us all prepare for the rising lake levels. This troop’s effort, which was led by scout Nick Krames, stepped up to help the communities of Murphy Bay, Sagle and Whiskey Jack, Sandpoint to fill and place hundreds of emergency sandbags to protect local marinas and docks. They were very quick to respond and extremely efficient in their efforts. These are traits which we’ve all grown to love and admire with local Boy Scout community.

Also, a special shout out to the SHS Athletes that helped in the Boy Scouts in their efforts.
