Hehn joins Daugherty Management

SANDPOINT ­— Daugherty Management has hired Jesse Hehn as its business and development manager. The move was effective April 2.

“Jesse has ‘mad love’ for Sandpoint like I do and brings 11 years of property management experience — he’ll be a fantastic contributor to our positive-oriented team,” said Kellee Daugherty, president of Daugherty Management.

Hehn has resided in Sandpoint for the last 19 years and has a 4-year-old son. He graduated from Sandpoint High School and attended North Idaho College, focusing on business management and development.

Daugherty Management opened a Sandpoint office on the corner of First Avenue and Pine Street in December 2017. Originally created as a small, boutique, service-oriented company of luxury vacation home owners and guests — the company now manages over 50 homes and $47 million of real estate in the Sandpoint area. A full-time staff of 10 operates year long and swells to 40 employees during the peak summer season.

“Jesse Hehn’s years of experience in Sandpoint’s long and short term rental market is a valuable addition to our growing company,” notes Rob Daugherty, CEO of the firm.

Daugherty Management manages vacation home rentals, long term furnished and unfurnished rentals, and provides a wide range of property and concierge services for secondary home owners who do not live in Sandpoint full time.

“The need for professional, customer-oriented, property management in our area is very high,” notes Daugherty. “Tourism is the third largest industry in Sandpoint and Idaho is the fastest growing state from a population standpoint. Taking care of guests and home owners is our number 1 priority.”
