Jeffry Loy Heath, 71

Jeffry Loy Heath, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:30 p,m, at the Washington State VA Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash.

Jeffry was born on October 7, 1946, in Klamath County, Oregon, to Loyal and Frances Heath. He grew up and attended schools in Oregon acquiring a bachelor of science degree from University of Oregon in political science. Jeffry served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a radar technician during the Vietnam era.

Jeffry worked as public relations intern at California State Museum of Science and Industry, also in public relations department for United Way in Los Angeles.

He was active in the Bonner County Amateur Radio Club and local veterans groups.
