On Saturday, May 12, Priest River Lamanna High School’s GEAR UP Club put on a book fundraising event for high school students called May Madness at the high school. There were battle balls, food, games, and hide and seek in the dark. The group was raising books for a school in Africa that was recently built. They were looking for books for the grade levels of Pre-K through 3rd. The group had 65 books donated to the event. (Courtesy photo)
