Babysitting class is announced

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Parks and Recreation is offering a babysitter’s training course next month.

The class is open to those ages 12 years and up. Class will take place in the City Hall council chambers, 1123 Lake St., from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on June 30. There is a class fee of $48 ($2 in-city discount). Pre-register by June 11 at the Parks & Rec office in City Hall.

Please note that while the class does go over basic first aid and CPR, it does not include certification in either one. For training in CPR and first aid contact the Sandpoint Fire Department.
